Zuber After apprenticing for one year with a goldsmith, Zuber learned bandhani from a friend and relative. He found that his designs in this art had ready markets, and that he enjoyed the immediacy of working especially on silk with acid dyes. Zuber has a special love for colour, and is interested in learning natural dyes because he knows that there is an international market for work that reflects the local environment and historical traditions.
